Και ενδεχομένως οι περισσότεροι να μην εκπλαγούν όταν θα δουν στην πρώτη θέση την ταινία Citizen Kane του Orson Welles και στη δεύτερη, την ταινία Godfather του Francis Ford Coppola.

Ο Hitchcock και ο Spielbergέχουν πέντε ταινίες στο top 100, ενώ οι ταινίες από γυναίκες σκηνοθέτιδες είναι ελάχιστες. Οι περισσότερες ταινίες στο top 100 είναι του 1970 , ενώ μόνο έξι είναι από τo 2000 και πάνω.
